CHARLOTTE, N.C. — A unique exhibition that offers a life-size, up-close opportunity to experience artist Michelangelo’s most iconic masterpieces is currently on display Charlotte.
“Michelangelo’s Sistine Chapel: The Exhibition” showcases the famous painter’s renowned ceiling frescoes. The works have been reproduced photographically and artfully displayed in their original size, allowing guests to see the intricate details of each piece.
The show runs through Aug. 22 at the former Old Dominion Paper Warehouse at Savona Mill at 401 South Gardner Ave.
The exhibit takes about 60 to 90 minutes to see.
To help limit capacity, tickets will be sold by timed entry.
Tickets cost $19.40 for adults, $17.20 for seniors age 65 and older and military members who present a valid ID, and $13 for children ages 4-12. Children younger than age 4 will be admitted free.
