See drive-in movies at Camp North End

CHARLOTTE, N.C. — Enjoy a night at the movies with a cool view of uptown at Camp North End’s Skyline Drive-In Movie Series.

The ever-expanding food and retail destination is transforming one of its parking lots into a 60-car drive-in movie theater on select Thursdays.

Tickets cost $30 per car with a portion of proceeds benefiting service organizations in the North End community, including Crisis Assistance Ministries, Salvation Army Center of Hope, Second Harvest Food Bank and Roof Above.

The screen will be located on the northwest corner of the parking lot off Statesville Avenue. An FM radio transmitter will be used so movie-goers can tune in from their car.

Cars can enter at the Camp North End entrance at the intersection of Statesville Avenue and Sylvania Drive beginning at 6 p.m. Movies start at 7 p.m.

Restrooms will be open. Face masks or coverings will be required when you are outside of your car.

Here’s the movie schedule:

March 3 - Creed

March 4 - Cinderella (1997)

March 11 - West Side Story
