FORECAST: Heat Advisory in effect; it could feel as hot as 105 degrees

FORECAST:

A Heat Advisory has been issued for the Charlotte metro and points south and east through Thursday evening.
Heat index values may reach close to 105 degrees on Thursday as temps rebound back to the mid-90s.
The only thing that could slow things down again would be some high clouds.
The risk for an isolated storm is low with most of the area missing out.
It will be the same story on Friday and the weekend as the 90s and high humidity hang on.
Our streak of highs in the 90s will likely last through next week.
