FORECAST:
- Morning temperatures are in the mid to upper 30s and we’re warming up into the mid and upper 60s this afternoon. It comes with wall-to-wall sunshine!
- Winds will be breezy with gusts near 25 mph in Charlotte, closer to 50 mph in the mountains.
- A Wind Advisory is in place for the Mountains until 6 p.m. because of these high winds. There is also an elevated fire danger across the entire area today because of warm temperatures, high winds, and low humidity.
- High temperatures take a little bit of a dip tomorrow and peak near 60 degrees.
- Clouds also increase ahead of our next storm system.
- We’re tracking showers and a few storms Friday afternoon.
- Any activity clears Friday night and leads to a quiet and dry weekend.
