FORECAST:
- As the metro area dries out it will remain cold and windy Monday night.
- The Winter Weather Advisory for Ashe and Watauga counties has been extended to 9 a.m. Tuesday.
- This week will be sunny but cold with lows in the 20s and highs in the 40s.
- Another Arctic blast moves in for the middle of the week.
- We’re watching the Friday-Saturday timeframe for another winter storm. Details on the exact precipitation type, amount, and timing, are still to be determined.
