FORECAST:
- It’s a cloudy and quiet start to our Friday, with lows in the 40s for many.
- The clouds stick around through the afternoon, with a few showers possible this evening as a cold front moves in.
- Ahead of the front, we’ll see highs in the mid-50s. Behind it, we have a big cool down as temps drop near freezing tomorrow morning.
- Some wintry weather is also likely in the mountains, where a Winter Weather Advisory is in effect from 1 p.m. today to 1 p.m. Saturday. Highest elevations could get a few inches of snow and could lead to some slick conditions on roadways.
- Sunny and cold across the area this weekend. Highs are in the 40s.
- Lows for Sunday and Monday are in the 20s.
- We’re quiet through Christmas Eve. Trending more seasonal for Christmas Day, with a few showers returning too.
