FORECAST:
- The rain is done across the Carolinas, but cold air is rushing into the region, Meteorologist Joe Puma said on Wednesday afternoon.
- We hit our high temperatures this morning and by 7 p.m., temps will eventually drop into the 30s.
- Lows tonight will further drop into the upper 20s, which means any water on roads may freeze and become icy for the morning commute.
- Conditions will continue to dry out and temps will stay chilly through the work week.
- The next rainmaker is expected to arrive on Sunday.
- That system will move out so expect dry and warm conditions next week with highs in the 60s.
