  • A cluster of showers and storms moving in Monday morning will continue to weaken as they move through the metro. Brief downpours with some lightning is about it. This clears up by mid-to-late morning and we’ll start to get back to some sunshine.
  • Highs in the low to mid-80s before a cold front arrives late day, and this may touch off an isolated downpour.
  • Otherwise, drier air comes in Monday night and keeps things quiet and comfortable heading into Tuesday.
  • Highs are just near 80 with lower humidity Tuesday.
  • The mugginess comes back on Wednesday, though, and stays with us into the weekend.
  • The rest of the week looks relatively quiet before a threat of afternoon storms this weekend. Yep, another wet weekend is possible -- This past weekend was 18 out of 23 so far this year with at least some amount of rain.
  • Temps heat up to near 90 degrees heading into the weekend, so it will likely be the hottest stretch of weather we’ve seen so far this year. We’ve only had 1 day at 90 degrees so far this year (91 degrees on June 3.)
  • Monday night will bring a few thunderstorms across our area.
  • Storms may stick around southern counties on Tuesday, but other areas will have quiet weather with little humidity.
  • Temperatures will warm up and reach 90 later in the week.
  • Rain chances move in this weekend with higher chances on Sunday.
