FORECAST:
- Pretty quiet weather today, with just some extra clouds starting to work their way back into the region.
- Temperatures fall slightly, back into the lower 50s, which is about average for this time of the year.
- As we head to the weekend, rain returns to the forecast. Scattered showers start up Friday, but it won’t be a washout at all.
- It will be much cooler though. Highs only warm to the mid 40s for Friday afternoon.
- As rain picks up this weekend, the temperatures do rise back into the 60s.
- Some steadier rain is likely as the weekend rolls in and we could even hear some thunder by Sunday, with heavier downpours.
