SATURDAY: It is a mild and muggy start to the day. Temperatures are in the upper 60s to low 70s in the early morning. Patchy fog is a problem in some spots, especially the mountains.
It will heat up quickly again, temperatures climb to the upper 80s with heat index values near 90 degrees.
There will be scattered storms developing later today, some storms could contain heavy rain as well as gusty winds. The severe weather threat is low.
SUNDAY: Not as many storms expected for Father's Day, but it will be hot with temperatures back to around 90 degrees.
NEXT WEEK: A front moves through Monday and Tuesday that will bring stronger storms. Once it passes, it provides a little relief from the heat. Temperatures will be in the mid-80s.
