CHARLOTTE, N.C. — SATURDAY: A threat for a thunderstorm pushes into the evening and early morning.
A Severe Thunderstorm Watch is in effect for the Charlotte metro area until 2 a.m.
Most of us will get through the day and night without a storm.

Storms will be capable of producing damaging wind and hail, as well as heavy rain and lightning. There could be some lingering showers overnight.
North of Charlotte will have the best chance for a storm.
Sunday started in the mid-60s, and then temperatures heated up quickly with highs in the upper 80s for the afternoon.
SUNDAY: There will be scattered afternoon storms Sunday and Monday.
They will be summer-like storms; not everyone will see rain and the storms won't last very long. The severe weather threat stays low.
It's going to be hot Sunday into Memorial Day with highs in the upper-80s.
