Charlotte has plenty of options to choose from when it comes to shopping malls. Consider this list of popular Charlotte malls before heading out on a shopping trip.

Charlotte Premium Outlets

Charlotte Premium Outlets is a 398,421-square-foot open-air mall with 100 stores with everything from specialty chocolate shops and cooking stores to the Sunglass Hut and Swarovski. Clothing stores include J. Crew, Ann Taylor Factory Store, Banana Republic Factory Store and Old Navy Outlet. There are also several shoe stores spread throughout the mall like Nike Factory Store, Cole Haan, Clarks, Converse, Adidas and Asics.

Concord Mills

Concord Mills is conveniently located off of I-85 just north of Charlotte and has more than 200 stores making it the largest outlet shopping center in North Carolina and a favorite among Charlotte malls. Stores range from HomeGoods and Bass Pro Shops Outdoor World to popular clothing and outlet stores. More quirky stores like As Seen On TV can also be found at Concord Mills. The mall's large food court has 14 restaurants and eateries to choose from including fast-food restaurants like Burger King, ice cream stands and Dunkin' Donuts. After shopping, visitors can catch a movie at the mall's 24-screen AMC theater, play a few arcade games at Dave & Buster's or visit the Sea-Life Aquarium.

Only a 10-minute drive north of uptown Charlotte is Northlake Mall, which has three major department stores, including Belk, Dillard's and Macy's, as well as 150 other stores and restaurants. Stores range from Bath & Body Works to Dick's Sporting Goods. As for the food court, shoppers can expect to find everything from Auntie Anne's Pretzels and Chick-fil-A to Lotus Express and Showmars — a local staple. For a break between stores, shoppers can grab some popcorn and catch a movie at the AMC Northlake Theater.

SouthPark Mall is a Simon Mall that offers shoppers a mixture of both upscale and affordable stores. The popular mall is anchored by several department stores such as Neiman Marcus, Belk, Nordstrom, Macy's and Dillard's. High-end stores like Louis Vuitton and Burberry are another big draw for the mall. There are also several shops that specialize in home decor that include Pottery Barn, Crate & Barrel, Ballard Designs and Arhaus. SouthPark jewelry stores include Tiffany & Co., Fink's Jewelers, Kendra Scott and David Yurman. The mall's food court is home to several restaurants, including Chipotle, Five Guys and Charley's Philly Steaks.
