CHARLOTTE, N.C. — The Charlotte Checkers unveiled some big changes to its logo following their NHL affiliate, the Carolina Hurricanes.
Several major changes include the removal of the hurricane warning flag strip across the bottom of both jerseys, a new font for the letters and numbers and a distinct look between the home (red) and road (white) uniforms.
Like the Hurricanes, the Checkers have not changed their primary colors or logo.
