SPONSORED: Toyota releasing 2020 Toyota Land Cruiser Heritage Edition

2020 Toyota

The new Toyota Land Cruiser doesn’t exactly bring to mind images of tough trails, mountain roads, and off-road adventures. (Although it certainly could, because it’s decked out with tons of performance features that allow it to be pretty much ready for anything.) What it does bring to mind is luxury, style, and top technology.

Go back in time with the 2020 Toyota Land Cruiser Heritage Edition

However, this N Charlotte Toyota SUV was once a vehicle designed with adventure in mind – back in 1951, it was introduced as a 4WD off-roading military solution. And that’s where Toyota’s taking it back to – the 2020 Toyota Land Cruiser Heritage Edition draws inspiration from the original model, the one that was ready for adventure at every turn.
Toyota drew most of its inspiration from the 1958 model; that’s the year that this N Charlotte Toyota SUV made its big debut in America. Some convenience and comfort features had been added, but it was primarily still designed to be a rough-and-ready off-road option. Check out how they’ve infused some of that attitude into the all-new limited edition 2020 Toyota Land Cruiser Heritage Edition:
  • A 5.7L V8 engine that allows for 381 horsepower and 401 lb-ft of torque, as well as an 8-speed electronically-controlled automatic transmission
  • Full-time four wheel drive, optional low-range driving, Torsen limited-slip locking center differential, and a 2-speed transfer case
  • A trailer towing package that allows for towing up to 8,100 pounds
  • Skid plates to protect the underside of the vehicle
  • A Kinetic Dynamic Suspension System that's ready to tackle any terrain, no matter how uneven
And performance technology like CRAWL control, Multi-terrain select with 360-degree views, Off-Road Turn Assist, and more.
However, in order to match the rough-and-ready performance and throwback attitude that this new special edition Toyota Land Cruiser Heritage Edition is bringing to the table, Toyota had to tweak its appearance, too. Here are some of the updates you’ll find on this N Charlotte Toyota SUV:
  • Toyota removed the running boards and side body moldings – not only is the overall look different, this also allows for more ground clearance when you're overlanding.
  • An interior with just two rows of seats to maximize cargo space in the rear, and black leather trim with contrasting bronze stitching on all seats
  • Your choice of Midnight Black Metallic or Blizzard Pearl paint on the exterior, both of which nicely complement the dark chrome accents, fog light surrounds, and headlight housing and black-accented grille
  • All-new 18" bronze aluminum wheels with a Toyota centercap and vintage Toyota Land Cruiser badging on the exterior
  • All-weather floor mats and cargo mat on the interior for added durability
Plus, you’ll still have top technology at your fingertips for entertainment, comfort, and convenience. This new Toyota SUV is truly a special blend of both worlds!
