CHARLOTTE, N.C. — The third annual Uptown Charlotte Jazz Fest was another great two days of smooth jazz.
Local band Innertwyned kicked off the festival on the first night along with Philadelphia's Pieces of a Dream and all star group Soul of Summer featuring Jonathan Butler, Maysa, and Warren Hill.
The second night was just as smooth with trumpeter Joey Sommerville.
Maysa returned for night two to perform with the UK's Incognito. Boney James closed the night with a high energy performance that even a little rain didn't slow him down.
