In a college football season that was like no other, fans of the game can take heart – we have made it through to playoff time.
On Friday, two playoff games will decide the teams who will be in the championship game on Jan. 11. Alabama, the top-ranked team in the country, will play No. 4 Notre Dame, and No. 2 Clemson will play No. 3 Ohio State.
COVID-19 dictated how the season was played and the virus is not through, throwing a wrench into where the championship playoffs will be held. Because of the growing number of COVID-19 cases in Southern California, the game scheduled to be played at the Rose Bowl in Pasadena, California (Alabama and Notre Dame), has been moved to AT&T Stadium in Arlington, Texas.
The Sugar Bowl will see Clemson and Ohio State along with 3,000 fans in New Orleans’ Superdome.
