HILTON HEAD ISLAND, S.C. — Nothing runs like a deer -- especially on a golf course.
Jordan Spieth’s second round at the PGA Tour’s RBC Heritage tournament was interrupted when a deer appeared from the forest lining the eighth fairway at Harbour Town Golf Links, CBS Sports reported.
Spieth, 38, was lining up his second shot at the par-4, 473-yard hole, where no golfers had scored an eagle during the first two rounds of play. Spieth went one better, spotting a deer.

After running across the fairway grass all the way to the sand, the deer turned around and headed back to the woods, CBS Sports reported.
The PGA Tour’s official Twitter account tweeted a video of the deer’s romp through the course and playfully asked for deer puns.
Spieth, who was 2 under for the tournament when the deer appeared, finished with a 68 on Friday for a 5-under-par 137 score, tying him for 14th place heading into Saturday’s third round.
