CHARLESTON, S.C. — For the third time this month, officers with the Charleston Police Department wrangled a reptile over the weekend, and the encounter was captured on video.
According to the police, members of the department’s animal, harbor and Daniel Island patrols responded to reports of a wayward alligator inside a parking garage.
As the video shows, first responders were able to subdue the reptile without incident.
Police also noted after the encounter that the animal was safely relocated from the parking structure, WCIV reported.
Charleston authorities captured a different alligator roaming a Daniel Island street on May 9 and corralled another gator near Daniel Island School the following day, the TV station reported.
