MYRTLE BEACH, S.C. — Talk about an unexpected house guest.
According to WPDE and WACH, Margie Meek captured the moment a 10-foot alligator dropped by a neighbor’s home Sunday in Myrtle Beach, South Carolina.
“Look what I came home to,” she captioned a Facebook video of the reptile walking, then taking a rest in a yard in the Myrtle Beach Golf and Yacht Community. “Right outside my neighbor’s house. Omg.”
Look what I came home to. Right out side my neighbors house. Omg.

The clip quickly went viral, raking in more than 2.8 million views by Tuesday morning.
Meek told WPDE that the gator eventually walked off.
According to The Island Packet, alligators are on the move this time of year because it’s mating season, which lasts until early June.
