With the holiday shopping season looming, companies across the country are starting to bolster their staffing.
Sam’s Club is looking to fill 2,000 permanent full-time positions in fulfillment and distribution centers, Business Insider reported.
The Walmart warehouse chain is focusing on a business and staffing model that is more e-commerce-centric.
About 100 Sam’s Clubs are starting an initiative where shoppers can order from their local club and have the products delivered, Business Insider reported.

The Walmart corporation isn’t the only retailer looking to add workers this holiday season.
Dick’s Sporting Goods is hiring up to 9,000 workers during its “National Signing Day” starting Oct. 14, Fox Business reported.
The company is looking for people to fulfill curbside pickup and ship-from-home orders.
If hired, associates will get 15% extra pay through the end of the year and up to 25% discount in the stores.
