According to the Hingham, Massachusetts-based company, the RumbleSeat accessory attaches to strollers via two plastic adapters that fit onto the stroller frame. The adapters were only included with three models: 0252, 0917 and 0918.

The affected models were manufactured between September 2014 and July 2019, and consumers are advised to immediately stop using the items until they receive free replacement adapters, the recall stated.

To date, UPPAbaby has received 135 reports of adapters detaching, including 77 incidents resulting in bumps, scrapes and two broken noses, the company confirmed.

The products were sold at juvenile specialty stores nationwide between October 2014 and July 2019 for between $180 and $200, the recall stated.
