ROSMAN, N.C. — A Christian summer camp in North Carolina was the source of at least 75 cases of COVID-19 in more than a dozen states, health officials said.
Officials are connecting the outbreak to staffers and campers who attended The Wilds camp near Rosman, North Carolina between June 28 and July 17, the Transylvania County Health Department said in a statement, according to ABC News.
A camp spokesperson told WLOS earlier this month that they had canceled planned sessions last week to enhance COVID-19 protocols but no other events were going to be postponed.
Part of the protocols was to limit the number of those attending and to ask participants to get tested before camp.
