Indianapolis FedEx shooting: Gunman had 2 assault rifles, police say

INDIANAPOLIS — Eight people were killed and multiple people were injured late Thursday after a gunman opened fire at a FedEx facility in Indianapolis, according to police. The gunman is also dead, apparently from a self-inflicted wound.

The facility is located near Indianapolis International Airport, WRTV reported.
William Young, the public information officer for the Indianapolis Metro Police Department, said police called the incident a “mass casualty,” according to WRTV.
