The cards will soon be shuffled and the sound of dice will be heard once again.
MGM Resorts announced the company’s properties will reopen June 4 on the Las Vegas Strip, according to a news release.
Company officials have also announced what steps they will be taking to make sure casino guests remain healthy.
At first, offerings will be limited at the Bellagio, New York-New York, MGM Grand Las Vegas and The Signature, hotel/casino properties in Las Vegas.

Employees will have temperature checks and will be required to wear masks. Guests will be encouraged to wear masks. There will be floor guides reminding patrons about social distancing.

MGM isn’t the only casino group looking to reopen soon. Caesars Entertainment has announced the opening of Caesars Palace Las Vegas, Flamingo Las Vegas, Harrah’s Lake Tahoe and Harrah’s Laughlin on June 4.
Like MGM, Caesars employees will wear masks and guests will be encouraged to do so. Company officials also are asking guests to not congregate and to practice social distancing.
