LOUISVILLE, Ky. — WARNING: This content includes descriptions of sexual assault.
A Louisville man will serve 50 years in federal prison without the possibility of parole for child exploitation.
Curtis Bradley, 63, will also serve a consecutive life term of supervised release for charges of production and possession of child pornography, WAVE reported.
According to court documents, Bradley began sexually assaulting a child when she was 11 years old, and the abuse continued for several years, the TV station reported.
Prosecutors alleged that Bradley assaulted the girl more than 100 times during that period, WDRB reported.
Meanwhile, prosecutors also alleged that Bradley would give his wife, Monica Bass-Bradley, cash and drugs in return for bringing the girl to the couple’s home so that Bradley could engage in sexual contact with the child, WAVE reported, citing court documents.
Bradley also recorded all of the encounters with the child on his cellphone, WDRB reported.
The couple was arrested in 2019 on human trafficking charges, and Bass-Bradley, who has not been sentenced, is charged with human trafficking of a victim under the age of 18 and unlawful transaction of a minor under the age of 16 for an illegal sex act, WAVE reported.
“We will continue to aggressively prosecute predators who sexually exploit the most vulnerable individuals in our communities, the children,” U.S. Attorney Michael Bennett said in a prepared statement announcing Bradley’s sentence.
