PRICEVILLE, Ala. — Rescue crews worked to free a horse that fell into a sinkhole in a northern Alabama town on Friday.
According to a Facebook post from the Town of Priceville, a horse fell in a sinkhole on Bethel Circle in the town.
Deputies from the Morgan County Sheriff’s Office responded along with the maintenance department for the City of Priceville, River City Towing, and volunteers, WAFF reported.

Crews brought in large equipment to help rescue the animal, the television station reported.
The horse was eventually freed and checked out by a local veterinarian, who said the animal did not suffer any major injuries, according to WAFF.
