‘Hello, Newman’: Infamous ‘Seinfeld’ postal worker stars in ad about voting

Newman is no longer menacing Jerry Seinfeld. He is taking shots at another famous New Yorker.

“Seinfeld” character Newman, the fictional postal worker who is the nemesis of the comedian, returned to the screen to film an advertisement about voting.

The ad, produced by the political action committee PACRONYM, is a group that is critical of President Donald Trump.

Actor Wayne Knight reprises his role as Newman, who appeared in 45 episodes of the comedy series between 1991 and 1998. The angry postal worker talks about the importance of voting during the ad while taking shots at Trump and Postmaster General Louis DeJoy.

During the video, Newman appears to illegally open someone’s mail, pulling out a cookie that he begins eating. He also takes out a large chicken leg from a mail cart next to a mailbox.

Newman then criticizes Trump and DeJoy, saying they have had the “gall to try to slow down the mail.”

The video ends with two men attempting to walk away with a mailbox.

“Hey! You picked the wrong government employees to mess with,” Newman says.
