The 60-year-old, who also had a role in a “The Sopranos” episode, was found dumped outside of a sheet metal manufacturing factory in the Bronx, on Nov. 28, 2022.

Vallelonga Jr.’s death was caused by ‘acute intoxication due to combined effects of fentanyl and cocaine,” the report stated.

Vallelonga Jr. was the son of Frank Vallelonga Sr. who accompanied Black pianist Don Shirley as a bodyguard during a tour of the South in the early 1960s. The pair’s experiences were turned into the Oscar-winning film “Green Book.”

Vallelonga Jr. played the role of his uncle, Rudy Vallelonga, in the film.

Vallelonga Jr.’s body was believed to have been tossed from a moving car, officials said. The day after his body was found Steven Smith, 35, was arrested and charged with concealment of a human corpse.

Smith later confessed to the crime. According to Smith, a woman named ‘Pam’ had approached him and asked him to help her dispose of the body of a person who had overdosed.

According to a criminal complaint, Smith told police “That dude was already dead. He overdosed. I didn’t have anything to do with that. Pam came up to me and said someone overdosed in the car. I went to the car and drove off. I can’t remember which way.”
