A woman decided the best way to protest an egg farm would be in the middle of an NBA game.
The woman, who was not immediately identified, glued her wrists to the court during Tuesday night’s game between the Los Angeles Clippers and Minnesota Timberwolves.
The protest stopped gameplay and was captured on video. At first, announcers thought it was an arena worker who had fallen but then were told that it was a protester.

The incident happened late in the second quarter as Timberwolves forward Jarred Vanderbilt was attempting free throws at the other end of the court, CBS Sports reported.
A TNT sideline reporter said the woman tried to glue her wrists to the floor and refused to lift them.
The reason for her protest was not immediately known but a press release from Direct Action Everywhere, a group of animal rights activists, said it was to protest an alleged animal rights issue at an egg farm owned by Timberwolves owner Glen Taylor, CBS Sports reported.
According to NBA on TNT reporter Allie LaForce, the woman wore a shirt referring to Taylor’s farm killing chickens because of a bird flu outbreak.

The Sporting News identified the woman as Alicia Santurio. The California Bay Area resident told the publication that she used super glue to attach herself to the floor of the Target Center. She also said she flew from California to Minnesota to stage her protest.
Santurio said that before she was allowed to leave the venue, she was given a citation and banned from the area for a year.
