INDIO, Calif. — Lizzo took the stage at Coachella during the music festival’s second weekend on Friday, joining headliner Harry Styles for a pair of favorite songs.
Styles, who sang with country singer Shania Twain last weekend, performed duets with Lizzo on the 2012 One Direction hit, “What Makes You Beautiful” and a version of Gloria Gaynor’s 1978 classic, “I Will Survive,” Rolling Stone reported.
Wearing colorful feathered boas, the “Good as Hell” singer joined Styles onstage to sing “I Will Survive,” then segued into “What Makes You Beautiful,” which celebrates its 10th anniversary this year, according to Variety.
The boy band’s hit has had nearly 700 million streams on Spotify through the years, the website reported.
It is not the first time the duo has performed together, ET Canada reported. In 2020, Styles joined Lizzo at a performance in Miami for a duet on her hit, “Juice.”
