Cardi B has reportedly filed for divorce from Offset after 3 years of marriage, according to documents filed in Fulton County, Georgia.
She filed for divorce Tuesday at an Atlanta courthouse, according to People.
The couple have a 2-year-old daughter, Kulture Kiari, and own a home in Buckhead, Georgia.
In documents obtained by E! News, Cardi describes her marriage as “irretrievably broken” with “no prospects for a reconciliation.” She is seeking child support from Offset.
In 2018, Cardi said she “grew out of love” with Offset, threatening divorce.
“I’ve been trying to work things out with my baby father for a hot minute now,” she said in an Instagram video in 2018. “We’re really good friends and, you know, we’re really good business partners. He’s always somebody that I run to, to talk to, and we got a lot of love for each other, but things just haven’t been working out between us for a long time. It’s nobody’s fault; it’s just like, I guess we grew out of love. But we’re not together anymore.”
She hinted: “It might take time to get a divorce. I’m always going to have a lot of love for him because he is my daughter’s father.”
Later that year, Offset pleaded for forgiveness and the couple agreed to work on their relationship, according to EOnline.
