NEW YORK — Actress Blake Lively and her husband, actor Ryan Reynolds, are expanding their family as they await the arrival of their fourth child.
Lively’s baby bump made the announcement for the couple, when she appeared at the 10th Annual Forbes Power Women’s Summit on Thursday, People reported.
At the event, when asked about her family, Lively responded: “I just like to create. Whether that’s baking or storytelling or businesses or humans, I just really like creating,” E! News reported.
Photos from the event show Lively wearing a form-fitting gold sequined dress that showed off her new bump.
Lively and Reynolds are parents to daughters James, 7, Inez, 5, and Betty 3, and got married in 2012, E! News reported.
The couple is known for keeping their children out of the private eye. Lively defended their decision to shield their children in a 2016 interview with Marie Claire, where she said, “Ryan had a nice, normal upbringing, and we want our kids to have the same normal life that we had. We don’t ever want to rob them of what we had, because we’d feel really selfish.”
In a separate 2016 interview with Elle, Lively referred to herself and Reynolds as “breeders,” saying, “I’m one of five kids. My husband is one of four, so we’re officially breeders. You can go on our website and we will give you some of our children.”
Reynolds and Lively met while starring together in “Green Lantern” in 2010, People reported.
