What is better than sitting down with a pint of Ben & Jerry’s when reality gets to be a bit too much?
Now your pup doesn’t have to look longingly at your Phish Food or Cherry Garcia.
Ben & Jerry’s has gone to the dogs literally with its new frozen treat made just for Fido.
The ice cream company is launching Doggie Desserts, The Associated Press reported.
The frozen treat comes in 4-ounce cups and comes in two flavors: pumpkin and cookies and peanut butter with pretzels, the AP reported.
Both varieties are made with sunflower butter and use the same ingredients as the company’s non-dairy desserts for its human customers.
Ben & Jerry’s is owned by Unilever, which said sales were up more than 10% late last year, the AP reported.
The frozen treats will be available at grocery and pets stores this month.
