NIAGARA FALLS, N.Y. — An animal rescue in New York is trying to find a home for a dog that’s spent more than 500 days at the shelter.
The longest resident at the Niagara County SPCA is “Joey,” a 3-year-old terrier/American Pit Bull mix, WGRZ reported.
Today News 4 WIVB Buffalo came to the SPCA to do a story on Joey who has been at our shelter for 500 days! We hope it helps him get adopted! 💕

Rescue officials said he is sweet and mellow but would not get along with other dogs in a house.
“He’d like to be someone’s one and only,” animal rescuers said on social media.
