NOTTINGHAM, England — A mom’s gravity-defying stunt in the middle of labor is surprising a lot of people.
Kat Bailey owns PoleKat Fitness in Nottingham, England. According to a Facebook post, she endured a grueling 24 hours of labor before welcoming a healthy baby boy named Joshua David Bailey.
She posted a video to Facebook Sunday showing how she passed time during labor.
"I thought I would do some pole, just to show that I still can," Bailey said before grabbing on the the pole, flipping herself upside down and into a split.
After completing the stunt, Bailey stood back up and said cheerfully, "Baby can come now!"
So...I'm officially in labour :) Got a few hours before we go to the hospital so thought I'd do some pole between contractions :) I promised I'd dedicate my labour day Iron X to our good friend Daniel Roe-barnett - so here it is :)
