Cochran, Ga. — A small plane crashed in Georgia on Saturday afternoon, killing the pilot, officials said.
Officials said a small single-engine plane crashed in Cochran, Georgia, about 120 miles southeast of Atlanta.
The pilot was the sole occupant of the plane.
The National Transportation Safety Board and the Federal Aviation Administration were at the scene late into the night Saturday, trying to determine the cause of the crash.
The victim has not been identified.
