National Coffee Day 2019: 5 freebies, deals to jump-start your day

According to NationalDayCalendar.com, Sunday, Sept. 29, is National Coffee Day, and several businesses are celebrating the "holiday" with freebies and deals.

Here are a few we've found:

1. Dunkin'

Customers who buy one hot coffee can get a second one free Sunday at participating locations, the chain said in a news release. Click here to find a store near you.

2. Krispy Kreme

Looking for a sweet treat to go with your java? The doughnut chain said it is offering two freebies at participating stores Sunday: a free Original Glazed Doughnut and a coffee. See a list of participating locations here.

3. Caribou Coffee

Customers can buy a $1 medium coffee, a $2 medium Cold Press or a $3 Nitro Black at participating locations, the company said. Click here to find a store near you.

4. Barnes & Noble

Customers at participating Barnes & Noble Cafes can "get a free tall hot or iced coffee ... with your purchase of any bake case item," the company tweeted Sunday. Click here to find a location near you.

5. Love's Travel Stops

On the road? Participating Love's Travel Stops are offering a large coffee or hot beverage for $1 on Sunday or Monday, the company said in a news release. The chain said proceeds from the items will go toward its Children's Miracle Network Hospitals fundraiser. Check out the Love's store locator here.
