A tagged great white shark named Katharine spent the holidays swimming, feeding and frolicking in the Atlantic Ocean in the waters off Florida, according to the ocean research group Ocearch.
“She has been enjoying the waters off Florida’s east coast for over a month now,” an Ocearch official tweeted.
Katharine’s satellite tracker pinged Wednesday morning off the Space Coast near the Kennedy Space Center.

Earlier in December, she was tracked in the Hobe Sound in Martin County before heading north.
Katharine, a 2,300-pound, 14-foot great white, was first tagged in August 2013 off Massachusetts’ Cape Cod.
Ocearch reported the shark has traveled almost 39,000 miles in the past three months.
