The Hurricane Center said an area of low pressure is expected to form several hundred miles south of Bermuda and gave it a 30% chance of becoming a tropical storm over the next five days.

Forecasters said if a tropical cyclone forms, it is expected to move north or northwest.

If the storm's wind speed reaches 39 mph, it will be named Tropical Storm Andrea.

Hurricane season runs through Nov. 30.
