Greenville County deputies said a couple staying in a Travelers Rest home through Airbnb in August noticed a black recording device and a charger and called police.
An arrest warrant says videos of the couple were found on the device.
Deputies said in a statement 59-year-old Douglas Albert Manor is charged with Peeping Tom, eavesdropping or peeping. If convicted of the misdemeanor, he could face up to three years in prison.
Manor remained in jail awaiting a bond hearing. Records didn't indicate if he had a lawyer.
