CHARLOTTE, N.C. — Charlotte native Ric Flair traded places with long-time WWE wrestling rival "Rowdy" Roddy Piper in ABC's "Celebrity Wife Swap."
Flair sat down with wsoctv.com at the Legacy Talent and Entertainment studios in uptown Charlotte to talk about his experience on the show.
Flair, who is also known to wrestling fans as "The Nature Boy," swapped his girlfriend, Wendy, with Piper's wife of 30 years, Kitty, for one week.
Flair and Wendy live a lavish, fast-paced lifestyle and enjoy spending most nights out on the town in Charlotte where Ric revels in his celebrity and the attention of fans.
Piper lives a more slow-paced lifestyle on a large piece of land on a mountain in Portland, Ore. with his family and their animals. The Pipers spend most their free time together at home.
Both women are challenged to live their lives for one week in a totally different world -- trading children, households and values.
"Celebrity Wife Swap" airs Sunday at 8 p.m. on ABC WSOC-TV Channel 9.
