ROCK HILL, S.C. — The developer behind The Power House has curated a diverse mix of tenants for its Rock Hill food hall.

The Sherbert Group has signed six tenants as well as a barber shop for that $18 million, adaptive-reuse project. Power House is part of Rock Hill’s University Center. It looks to breathe new life into the 58,000-square-foot building, which dates to 1929.

The goal was to secure a diverse mix of culinary favorites from top regional restaurant operators, says Tara Sherbert, CEO.

“We wanted experienced operators, but we wanted new concepts,” she adds. “We believe these offerings will best service the appetite of the very active arena and immediately adjacent apartments, corporate offices, student housing and great downtown of Rock Hill.”

Newly signed food hall tenants include a taco eatery, ice cream shop, coffee spot, burger joint and a Southern kitchen.
