CHARLOTTE, N.C.,None — Channel 9 has learned that police searched a store in Charlotte for 18-month-old Amir Jennings who has been missing for more than a month.
Police said they received a tip that someone saw Amir in a Dollar Store. Police did not say which location or when.
Officers did not find Amir when they searched.

Police arrested Amir's mother, Zinah Jennings, in Columbia last month.
Police said she lied to police about Amir's whereabouts.

Amir's father used to live in Charlotte, which is why officer have put the city on their radar.
Police are also checking Rock Hill, Raleigh and Atlanta.
