The New York Yankees are bringing in another veteran hitter this offseason, reportedly signing first baseman Paul Goldschmidt to a one-year, $12.5 million deal, per multiple reports.

Goldschmidt, the 2022 NL MVP, has spent the past six seasons with the St. Louis Cardinals. The seven-time All-Star will be a major boost for the Yankees, who are rebuilding after losing Juan Soto to the Mets.
