CHARLOTTE, N.C.,None — Family members of a teenager found dead in a Charlotte neighborhood said the girl was a runaway.
"I just felt in my heart that something was going to happen to her," Vontisue Patterson said.
Aerial Patterson's mother said she had an eerie feeling that something was wrong with her daughter days before the teen was found in a southwest Charlotte neighborhood.

"Oh my God, no words can explain how I feel," she said.
Police said a friend dropped Patterson off at the house on Arbroath Court Friday night for a pre-arranged meeting with someone. When the friend returned to pick her up, police said, she was dead.
Eddie Doh, 23, is accused of killing Patterson. Besides murder, he is also charged with armed robbery and possession of a firearm by a felon.

Patterson's mother said she had no idea what happened to her daughter. She said Aerial had a habit of running away from home and meeting up with people she found online.
Patterson's mother reported her daughter missing two times over the past year, according to incident reports from Warren police.
