Man Arrested In Concord Convenience Store Shooting

CHARLOTTE, N.C.,None — A man has been arrested in a Nov. 19 shooting inside a Concord convenience store.

Ladrawde Edward Davis, 29, was arrested in Charlotte Tuesday morning.

Police have been looking for Davis since the shooting, which happened at the Catawba Food Mart on Davidson Highway in Concord. Police said Davis shot Keyonmokin Heath, who he had previously dated, multiple times.

Heath survived the shootings.

According to police, Davis kidnapped Heath at gunpoint from a Charlotte location and held her in a car against her will. Heath ran inside the gas station to get help, but he chased her and shot her, police said.

The Concord Police Department and the Charlotte Mecklenburg Police Department said they worked together to locate and arrest Davis.
