CHARLOTTE, N.C. — Home sellers in the Charlotte market now have yet another non-traditional avenue for reaching a deal.
After announcing plans in October to bring its Zillow Offers platform to the Charlotte and Raleigh markets, the online residential real estate company on Wednesday launched that service, which allows sellers to request a non-obligation cash offer from Zillow to purchase their home, eliminating the need to prep a home for open houses or showings.
Zillow touts the service as one that reduces the “stress and uncertainty” associated with selling a home by giving consumers more control in the home-selling process on their own timeline.
The company also works with local real estate agents.
