YORK COUNTY, S.C. — The York County Sheriff’s Office has found a K-9 who ran off into the woods Wednesday during training.

“We found Gunner!! Cold, wet, hungry, tired but is in great health!” the sheriff’s office said in a tweet Thursday afternoon.
Deputies were training at about 3 p.m. Wednesday at the Kings Mountain State Park’s Living History Farm in Clover when Gunner, the K-9, jerked away from his handler.
