It was an all-female newscast Monday evening with Erica Bryant and Natalie Pasquarella.
Their co-anchor Blair Miller was absent for the evening, but for a good reason.
Miller was named Anchor of the Year by the North Carolina Association of Broadcasters Monday in Greensboro.
He was honored for his numerous contributions to the community and investigative reports that you see here on WSOC-TV.
Blair joined the Eyewitness News team in June of 2002.
