GASTON COUNTY, N.C. — A wreck involving a Gaston County Sheriff’s Office cruiser shut down a highway Thursday night, officials said.
A Toyota Tacoma was on White Jenkins Road when the driver pulled out in front of the cruiser, which was on Dallas Cherryville Highway, troopers said.
The drivers were taken to the hospital but did not appear to have been injured.
The driver of the Tacoma could be charged.
